Been to Germany five times. My take on why German debadge their nice cars: Germans are conceited. They feel that those who appreciate fine cars know what it is, and those who don't don't need to know.


Just my observation... it seems that about 70-80% of BMWs in Europe are debadged. Can someone tell me if they are sold this way or do the owners do it themselves?
