That's right. I'm from Europe (Holland) and owning a BMW like I do here (I live in Philadelphia now) at age 31 is not normal overthere. People my age typically drive little Opels (GM), Fords, Alpha's etc.


My understanding is that you have to be older in Europe before you can afford a car like a BMW.


Our german high school exchange student told me that BMW is considered old people car in Germany, second only to MBZ. Boy, did I felt old when I picked up the car last week, and I always considered myself a yuppie.
