I'm patiently waiting for my '01 330i to arrive before Christmas, but in the meantime I'm driving our '79 911 SC. My husband and I are nice people. No pricks allowed! Don't stereotype Porsche drivers, just as you would not want to be sterotyped for driving a BMW.


Some idiot in a Porsche (911 I think), who looks to be 19, pulls out of his parking spot, right in front of me. Thanks BMW's brakes, no accident! The moron then look at me like it was MY FAULT! IDIOT!


Just took a short drive on a mountain road. Huge stag by the road, didn't see him until I was about 100 feet away at about 60 mph.

Well, the breaks are great. Didn't have to hit them that hard, anti-lock breaks kicked in a couple of times. Stag and I were both happy.

I was on my new winter tires, no less ... Dunlops. They hold the road well on dry pavement.
