For starters, there's a 1K mile check-up Lexus does on new cars. If you don't bring you BMW about a problem, the first 'check-up', actually, who knows what they do, is at 15K miles when they change the oil. You also get a loaner when car is serviced, just like with BMW. Lexus is #1 in customer satisfaction and quality. Check out the JDPowers report. On it, BMW is neck in neck with Oldsmobile, a joke! right...


I'm not recommending the IS300 if the price is the same, but if it's $3000-4000 less than a 325i, it's worth considering. The dealer is Ira in Peabody, MA.


ok, dont shoot me...but for about the same money, i can get either car...i have read all about both and driven both but unable to decide..currently own 325is...on reliability alone..im leaning towards the IS300...have had numerous problems with my car, mostly quality issues and oh, by the way, a new transmission...but i love the feel and after 6 yrs it still feels tight and new...your thoughts much appreciated.
