Why the obsession with larger Nav screen? (archive)

I've found when I use the nav system, I hardly EVER look at the screen now and just go by the voice navigation. Imagine going 70 mph on the freeway and have to take your eyes off the road for a few seconds to decipher the commands or the map on screen. The only thing good with the screen now is that it entertains my passengers.
