Sorry to be so blunt that's one of silliest things I've read in a long time. Buying something has never been a form of "speech".
If what you claim is true, that would mean that the US government would be required to give us anything we wanted. Otherwise that would be a restriction on our ability to "express" ourselves (through our personal belongings).
And even if for some unknown reason you prove in a court of law that buying luxury automobiles was a form of expression that still does not necessarily mean the government could not tax those purchases. Freedom of speech (expression) is not absolute, despite what the First Admendment says. Limits on speech have been with us since the founding of this country.
