It doesn't work that way.

Your right to free speech prevents the government from singling you out and stopping you from purchasing a BMW in an attempt to stop you from making whatever statement you think purchasing that BMW will make. They can, however, regulate and tax the sale of all BMWs or, in this case, all cars over a certain value.
