Assuming you've put a couple thousand miles on the engine already to break it in you should be fine. German engineers design those things to go fast for extended periods. My friend that lives in Germany regularly drives his VW Polo (It's so tiny they don't even sell them here) at its threshold of speed on the Autobahn, everyone over there does....
