You've had the car a while, correct? Once it's broken in, an occasional top speed blast won't hurt the engine.

However, it doesn't look like it would do much for the relationship.


I understand how wierd this post is, but please, try to bear with me..
My phsyco boyfriend and I were haveing an argument in the car while he was driving on the highway, when he floors the car and goes 135 mph!! I was yelling at him to slow down, but he wouldn't. I could see myself flying through the windshield at 135mph, or his stupidity killing others. After about 4 minutes he did slow down, but now I am worried that this was very bad for my car. Can anyone tell me if running my car that hard could do anything besides burn up a lot of gas? I have a 2000 323Ci. I can't believe I put my baby in the hands of this jackass.
