I actually triend Niello first..they said late november production at best, and definately MSRP..i got october production week 41 from Weatherford, so i went for the quicker route..

The Bay area dealers are notorious for selling at MSRP. Did you try Niello in Sacramento? I would have thought that they would do better on price.

ok here goes:

I picked up my week 41 330ci on 11/15/00 and have put just over 500 miles on it. i haven't had the car to long, but i am already in love with it. my previous vehicles were a 1974 914 2.0 with a new engine that i've had for years..i auto x'd the 914 before and also have a big truck..i evaluated my buddies A6, and my other friend's 2000 540ia before getting the 330...i had originally wanted a new M3, but you know the story on that..wasn't hot on a used/abused M3, so i went for the 330. so far i am quite impressed..my only issue is a minor rattle in my rear deck (sound like it) when the speakers produce moderate to high bass levels (on any kind of music). the car is so smooth, and truly good for a long commute. the sport package handles well, but i miss the feeling of the 914's steering..i to would like it a little stiffer, but it doesn't spoil the car. it's the little nuances that make it such a wonderful machine..i've been slammed with work so i haven't had a chance to take any great pictures, but here are some from the dealership and my driveway. I picked the car up at weatherford bmw in berkeley..delviery was quite fast, as the boat docked 11/11 and car showed at dealer on 11/14, with pickup on the 15th. the folks at the dealership were quite professional and i would give them my business again. my only complaint, if you call it that, would be the prices.. i paid MSRP, and couldn't negotiate a great deal on my alarm, so i am going to do it myself. i guess that's what the market will bare.. after i get it broken in i will post a more thorough review...i want to thank everyone on the board for their advice and insight during my waiting period. my only regret is that i didn't start reading the board sooner, else i would have known and opted for the 415 rear sunshade...all in all i love this car, and would by it again if i had it to do over!
