You might want to consider a full cat back system instead of just replacing the muffler. Replacing just the muffler is a half way solution. To do an effecive job, the pre-silencer and resonator should also be replaced with performance units. All three must be engineered together to be effective. You could actually wind up losing power below 3000 rpm. Borla makes an excellent cat back system.

Hi,

I am looking for a new exhaust for a 328i. I was wondering if you would choose the Remus exhaust or the UUC exhaust? It seems that the UUC will only improve the car by 4.9 hp. Does anyone know if the Remus will perform better? Which exhaust would you prefer? Also, I would like to fit my AC Schnitzer exhaust tip on top of these exhaust. Do you know if it'll fit or not? Thank you.
