Help: Removing Visor Decals with Goof Off ... (archive)

I used some Goof Off to remove the safety visor decals on my 8 month-old '00 328Ci, but I'm still left with an impression of the decal. I have black interior, but the visor is grey. Did I wait way too long before attempting to remove the visor decals? What can I do to ensure the impression gets removed? Thanks.
