I went with Pacbell and self install. I too had problems earlier getting an installer. Self install is easy. Plug DSL modem in USB port and then load some software. 15 minutes tops. The modem is also free (net) with rebate. So $39.99 a month not bad. You may check out DSL from MSN too. Same price. Good luck.
