Plus the money will be retained in the form of resale value of the car, as opposed to a toilet flush for aftermarket mods.

E46 bottom line: If you are a driving enthusiast, and are not put off by BMW's apparent "poor value", you will be one very happy owner of a 3-series. I certainly have been!
