Just got the Alpine 6CD Changer from Pacific BMW. I've got the Nav sys. so plan on installing it on the left side of the trunk. CD Prep instructions say to change the position of the Horizontal / Vertical Spring Pin on the changer. I'm assuming I'm a horizonal mount and the insturctions say that the unit is shiped with the pin in the horizontal position -- so, I should do nothing.

Problem is, the pin is next to the "V" label, which to me means it's in the vertical position. On the flipside, the diagram has the pin next to the "V" too, which seems to indicate that that is the default horizontal position.

Anyone know? Do nothing or change it?

Thanks!
