If you've been reading the board the past 24 hours, you know that a certain individual has plagiarized my work and is selling E46 VDO gauge kits on EBay. I am not pleased about this. I have written to this individual and he promises to make things right. Nonetheless...

I (LeatherZ) stock VDO gauges & senders and build leather gauge panels that replace the small oddments box under the radio. Normally a complete kit would sell for:

VDO Vision Oil Pressure Gauge, 80psi, $27.00
VDO Vision Oil Temperature Gauge, $27.00
VDO Vision Voltmeter, $27.00
Oil Pressure Sender & adapter, $67.00
Oil Temperature Sender, $25.00
Leather gauge panel in customer specified black or tanin red leather, $50.00

Total retail price: $223.00

This price applies to all 6-cylinder engines. 4-cylinders cost more.

My kit does not include wiring, tie wraps, caulk, or 1/4" push on connectors. You will have to buy those yourself. I will include a printed copy of my/Vicky's installation instructions which you can no longer find anywhere on the web. I will provide all the tech support you need over the phone to make your install as easy as possible.

Through Thursday this week, if you place an order for a kit and mention the words "that guy on EBay sucks", I will take another $25.00 off the retail price. This means your total will be $198.00 plus $7.00 shipping. Compare this price to the one shown on the auctioneer's website of $325.00.

If it's convenient for you, I will install the kit for you and pay for the required oil and oil filter for $400. I am located in Los Angeles.

Here are the Particulars
I am going on vacation Thursday and I will not have time to finish gauge panels before then. If you are interested and you want the "Guy on Ebay sucks" price, please call me this week before Thursday. I will build a batch of panels to meet demand. After Thursday, the price will go back to $223.00, which is still over $100 less than his price.

I am going to Florida this evening and I will be back in LA tomorrow night at 10pm (yeah, double red eye flight... kool). If I do not answer the LeatherZ phone line and/or my cell phone, please leave a message and I will call you back.

This is a picture I took of the finished installation:
