1)Well I've heard varying opinions on this message board. I think your best bet is to take your fav cd to the dealership and test out both systems. That's what I did. I found that the HK was clearly superior and was worth the extra $$$.

2)Asking price varies from market to market. Take the Bay Area for example, it's difficult to get below MSRP, but possible. I paid $930 below. In other markets you'll have an easier time getting a good deal.
