Some very good points have already been made. But, try this site at www.autogiant.com/newcar.htm. It has a great configurator that also includes INVOICE pricing along with MSRP. I did very well, ($2000 over invoice/$2000 under MSRP) by walking in already knowing exactly what I wanted, with the printout from this site which had the prices that were exactly the same as those in the dealer's book.

I will disagree with the poster who said "No Metallic plus a bra." Get the color you want, the metallic colors are awesome. And unless you are totally dedicated to putting on and removing the bra (wet bra equals disaster to paint), don't do it. Better alternative, X-pel or similar clear 3M Film bra.

Guys,

I need your help. I am thinking of purchasing a 2001 330i and am wondering if the default stereo system is any good. I am assuming it is not, but figured I'd ask.

Also, and more importantly, if I build my car on BMW's web site, what can I expect to pay relative to the MSRP that is generated based on the options? Standard dealerships I would expect that I can barter for some discount, is that true at BMW?

Thanks in advance,
MikeB
