Hotel Torbrau 2 blocks from Marienplatz....very nice small hotel. Paid about $110 in Oct. when we did Euro Delivery. Subway stop right outside the door.

330cic Sil/Bl All options except park (PICK UP AT FREIMANN DELIVERY CENTER Lilienthal-Allee 26 80799 Munich).
Will arrive in Munich 2:00 pm Sunday, pick up car on Monday late morning immediatly drop car off and fly to Rome 7:00 pm for 5 days. My girl friend that is comming with me grew up in Rome and has a place to stay. Concerned about driving in winter and Italy car security issues. Don't ski.

CAN ANY ONE RECOMMEND A RESTURANT AND HOTEL IN MARIENPLATZ OLD TOWN CENTER (prefer smaller hotels or BB)?

Will have Sunday afternoon evening and Monday morning in the old town. Currently have two possiblities for Hotel An Der Oper and Rension Siebel both short want to old town center.
