where they came from. I am the only person who hand washes all my cars. Ablsolutely no one else washes my cars. I refuse complimentary washes at the dealers. So, as far as I am concern, it's either from painting inperfections, or just part of residuals after the factory paint job. I just live with it.

My 2 month old sliver 325Ci has tiny scratches?! Last night when I was checking it out at this parking lot, I noticed fine straight scratches on my trunk lid! They are not deep, but they appear to be on the clear coat. The thing is, I can only see them under the light at that parking lot. I took my tiny BMW flashlight out of the glove compartment and shined it against the car, but I can't see the scratches.

I am extremely careful when washing my car. I have only washed it three times with those soft sheepskin (?) gloves that are so popular. I don't wipe the car in a circular patern, but rather a back and forth straight patern. I don't rub it hard either. So do I have scratches or is it some illusion from certain light sources?
