So far I've had a horrible day. I tell you BMW should def do something about the way they make the door lock on the driver side. How cheep is this made, Perhaps they should invest their money in making the locks titanium so they don't break so easily.
this is the second time they ripped out the lock and got in my car. This time they didn't steal anything but my aftermarket remote control for headunit and the bmw user manual. How rediculous is that. The alarm went off, when they opened the door and my pager went off, but by the time i got there, they were gone and my friends honda got stolen.
Even on new years eve. Unbelievable. But anway, I'm thinking about having an autobody just make that handle have no lock like the passengers, so theres nothing to rip into. That way i'll just carry the two keys that bmw provides with me and when one battery dies, i'll use the other one, Does that make any sense to anyone.
If they keep using this method to break into my car, and not steal the car. then if we illiminate this technique, could we possibly prevent this from reaccuring.
The other option of course is to quit my job there. I mean 400 bucks to repair the lock every time can sure add up, not to mention the damage to the inside they cause.
Any thoughts?
