I know of no running changes. In fact, I've got an early 330i (week 30), and my brother has a more recent one (week 39). The are identical except for the Brake Assist and door handles. His clutch is also completely different, which is strange....

Different tires, especially underinflated tires, could make the difference in handling.

I put aftermarket Racing Dynamics Sway Bars on my 330i for less than $300 and the difference/improvement is amazing.
