I to would be interested in knowing. My car (323Ci)was built last week of May or first week of June and I would be interested in knowing which it has. It actually seems lighter than I expected. I drove a 2000 323Ci several months before mine was delivered but it was to long ago to remember for comparison.

Ok. Here goes. To get the record straight, I don't want to be blasted for posting a message concerning the steering. I just want to know what I have--is that too much to ask? Some people are just so sensitive (more like nasty) and sore they have the new steering they blast every message concerning steering. Yes, it does suck that you guys got a car with a different feel you didn't want. However I don't think it is necessary to act like an asshole to every person that has an inquiry about the subject. Here goes my question to anyone who is mature enough to answer my question in a calm manner:

I've read several posts in the archives concerning steering. Some posts state that the new steering didn't go into production until After June. My question is this, What if you have a 2000 model (323i or 328i) that was made after June? My next question is that weren't 2001 models also being made during 2000? My guess is that all 2001 cars have this so called new steering. However, my real question wonders about all the 323's and 328's made after June. And, to make the record straight to any jerk itching to write some bent out of shape remark---Yes I am satisfied with my steering. It would just be nice to know what I have--New or Old steering? Thanks.
