Hello,

Is it normal to have a slight burnt smell, that is only noticable from outside of the car, after some fast driving at highway speeds? My 328 seems to have this smell after a fast drive.

It may be the cosmoline or like me it's an annoying smell that persists for many 1000's of miles. I'm not sure if I would call it "normal" but others have mentioned it. I would sure like to find out what exactly is causing it.
