I live downtown...park my car outside (but can't see it from my window). I could get to my car in 30 seconds to see what is wrong. Then again, I wouldn't go confronting whoever was at my car...perhaps yell from a distance and call the police. If they were amateurs, they might be scared off. As for your ballpark scenario...I don't go to many games. :-)
