I'm glad the pager paid off.
I have it hooked not up to the alarm system, but to the two front door triggers. The door opens, the signal is sent through the antenna.
Just wish i could boost up the signal somewhat.
But i'm happy with the progress so far.

Back when I had a different car and was a little younger, I had a pager type alarm system. I lived in an apartment complex that had a long parking garage that was notorious for having cars constantly being broken into and stolen.

My car was stolen once from this garage, and I vowed it would never happen again after I got it back. I put in the starter kill and the steering lock and a paging alarm system.

A year later. 4am... BEEP BEEP BEEP ... Wife was on the phone dialing the police, I was running out to investigate... 4 punks driving a stolen bronco were hacking at my car - they had managed to silence the siren in seconds, but they didn't realize the car was still sending an alert to my pager!

I made some noise and started yelling at them. ( I was still some distance away) They grabbed what they could, jumped into the bronco, and took off, trying to run me down as I stood in their path...

Moments later the police showed up, said they had captured the punks a few blocks down the road, with my stolen radio in their possession. They went to jail. Wouldn't have happened without the pager.

Of course, now I own a house with an alarm system where my sweet 330Ci sleeps safe and sound each night...
