As good as the standard halogens--BMWs reputedly have some of the best in the business--are, the xenons offer even better lighting. I've compared them back to back against my sister's 328i, equipped with the standard lights, and there is no question. IMO, the xenons produce a wider beam pattern and great contrast.

In addition to the $200 in-dash CD player, and $1200 sport package, I think the xenons are a no-brainer option and a good value.

I'd add the HK system to that list of must-haves, but that's borderline; what you get for $675 is hard to beat, but people looking to upgrade the entire sound system should pass.
