ACS SHORT SHIFT vs UUC SHORT SHIFT (archive)

What is the difference between the ACS shortshift and the UUC one? Which is smoother, any structural difference? What does the ACS replace of stock vice versa the UUC? Any expriances with either shifter would help thank you.
