330Xi vs. 325XiT (archive)

My wife is torn between the performance of a 330Xi vs. the utility of a 325Xi Touring. While the 3-series trunk size is ok, the openning is small. The wagon fixes that and adds a nice roof rack that has a optional bicycle adapter (we have two mountain bikes).

But a automatic, AWD, wagon with the 325 engine seems slow. It is heavier than a 525 sedan.

What do you think?

Either car would have a navigation system.
