My last car, an E36 328i, would fade a little after some really hot laps. Many times I would overshoot the corners when I would get carried away and the brakes were red hot. They never warped because I took good care of them (lots of slow warm-up and long cool-down). I'm expecting a lot more from the huge 330i brakes.

If you are worried about unsprung weight, why not try a set of aftermarket forged (or multi-piece) alloys?
