Make sure to only download songs that are greater than 128 bit. Bitrate is the quality of the song. Anything below 128 will sound bad.
2) Does burn speed matter? My CD-Recorder will do 2x, 4x, or 8x.
For skip free reliability, create your cds at 4x. If you do go higher, make sure you have a good quality CDR (like Verbatim).
3) Does the type/brand of disc matter? If so what's the best? I heard that silver CD-Rs are better than others. Is this true? If so what's the reason?
Verbatim DataLifePlus are the best.
4) If you don't buy jewel cases how do you label/store your CDs?
I use Avery CD labels to print my own jewel case and cd covers. Or you could simply use a marker to label them.
Hope this helps
