The ceramic disk brakes are going to be a stand alone option on all 911's, and the rumor is that they are going to be $10,000. But the thing it, they are not only lighter, but they will last considerably longer. I forget the number, but it is on the order of 100K miles.

Ten grand is still a lot to spend on brakes.
