I never hear of anyone going for a joy ride up the country in an automatic. It's always some sort of roadster and always manual. 5 speed Miata, 6 speed Porsche, etc.

For you, it could be different. Did you enjoy driving your previous car? If you did, then theres no reason why you wouldnt enjoy the step. For me, I got bored with my previuos automatic. It was really quick, but after awhile, the speed wasn't enough. Of course, it didn't handle like the Bimmer either.

If you live in Frisco, then get the step. Those hills look scary on the clutch $$$!
