According to JS himself...

Pre-approval will lock both the rent charge factor (money factor), and the residual value percentage [or retail finance rate] for sixty days from the "program expiration date"... In this case, the 5.9% A.P.R. can be "locked-in" through the end of April 2001.

So I should be ok! Thanks again guys


The way I understand it is the only way you'll be able to take advantage of the 5.9% is if you finalize the financing before 3/1/2001 which means you start paying for it in March. This may not be possible because a production/vin number won't be assigned yet. Sounds like at best you'll be able to take advantage of any deals they have going through the end of April.
