BTW I'm getting a 325ci - step, pp,sp,leather,heated,xenon,hk/cd. I didn't like the stick and having to jam it into first. Seemed like they angled it to much toward the driver and I wanted to always go into second gear. Big a@@ spring loaded clutch, I felt like I was having knee jerk reactions everytime I shifted and my knee was going to hit me in the chest on a 330i I test drove! :o) Just my opinion don't flame me, I'm sure over time it will work itself out and be smoother.
you are pretty easy to please, and will die for the Boxster!
The '77 924 is undoubtedly the biggest POS car that Porsche ever made, it had the worst of all worlds: Slow, rougher than a pickup truck in ride and engine, cheap parts (VW Bug suspension pieces, a dash that would crack if you looked at it too long), buzzy, etc. Other than the crest on the hood, it had nothing going for it.
My 328Ci lease is now in it's 60 days... It's a fabulous car - everything that The Ultimate Driving Machine should be... It is my 2nd E46, and I am going to be sad to see it go... The real question now is what to get next? I've considered all of my options, and now I'm leaning towards taking a walk on the wild side [unless BMW wants to "give" me a new demo]. Yeah right! Sure!! :-P
I "crunched the numbers" on a Boxster today, and believe it or not, I can lease myself a Boxster (cap cost @ invoice, of course) for a lower payment than a 330Ci. Thanks to a very high residual value. I haven't owned a P-car since my '77.5 924 LOVED THAT CAR 'til my wife totalled it (way before we were married)... Now I am all messed up. What do I do? Help!!!
