I get high-beam flashes often for the low-beams. I think those Xenon wannabe bulbs are way too expensive and some don't even last as long as regular bulbs. It's easy to tell that your e46 does not have the real mcoys 'cause they don't have the auto adjusting projectors.


I see advertising for many Xeon like upgrades.
such as whitish HID bulbs (direct factory regular bulb replacement) for $20. They claim 50% brighter then standard bulbs.

Anyone have any experience with this? Are they worth it?

After trying the xenon lights on my parents A4, I regret not getting it on my 328i.
