I would only use lexol on leather surfaces - the wrapped part of the steering wheel, the front and tops of seats, headrest, the manual gearshift. (not the backs of the seats which are plastic or the parking break lever which is also plastic).

All the other plastic and metal parts I have found it best to just use a damp rag. If you use Amour all or other such products I have found that a grease builds on the surface over time (4 years), as well as on your windshield from evaporation.
