We have the previous generation VR6 that has had multiple quality issues since new. They may have improved the build quality since we purchased ours, but the new generation Jettas are still built in Mexico.I have also been very disatisfied with the service I've received at two different VW dealerships. My most recent experience resulted in three visits and $1000 in bills to fix a misfire problem.I would much rather get a stripper 325 if money were the main issue. I think you would be happier in the long run.
