OK, here�s the deal. I�ve been contacting dealers and distributors around the nation in an attempt to find the best deal for a group purchase.
This is what we have:
E46 Alarm Kit Part #65 73 9 416 520 Retail Price is $300. Our price is $219
- This kit will work with all E46 sedans and coupes. The installation can be done as DIY. Refer to http://www.bmw330ci.com/DIY_Alarm.htm for the instructions. However, after installation, you will need to take your car to the dealer to get them to activate the alarm. From what I�ve gathered this costs anywhere from Free-$80.

I just found out it is the mirror set for non-power seats, I am working on pricing for the mirrors for power seats...expect about $100 more.) Our price is $344
- since it is BMW OEM. This mirror will ship to you unpainted. However, they do not stock this item so it will be a special order and will take an extra 2-4 days�no big deal. Our price is pretty good since Hagus sport mirrors cost around $450 and the Hamman ones cost much more. Also the M3 mirror folds upward like the original mirrors.

- From what I�ve heard the install is pretty simple. Refer to http://www.bmw330ci.com/DIY_Clears.htm for the instructions. Personally, I think the clears really enhance the appearance of the car.

So, that�s the pricing info. I realize the prices are not as low as everyone might think they should be from a group purchase but this really is the best I could get. I tried dealers on the East coast, West coast, and Midwest. At these prices, the profit margins are already pretty tight.

Here�s the good part. They have agreed to ship everything free of charge. With the average size and weight of the items; shipping would be roughly $25-$30 for domestic orders. This means we each save $25-$30 on the shipping and we do not have to pay sales tax (another $30-$60 in savings). I'll contact the dealer tomorrow and find out about international shipping for those of you that have asked me about it. I don't think shipping to Canada will be an issue but beyond North America might involve some extra shipping costs.

Just keep in mind that you will be responsible for return shipping costs if you need to exchange something.

This is how I�ve arranged to handle the order. I will fax them a list of the committed buyers� names, email address, and shipping address. Once everything is confirmed, I will send an email to everyone with the group purchase number and all you need to do is call the number and give them your payment info.

So, look these prices over and decide if you are interested. If you are; I need the following info emailed to me at vcko@primary.net

I�ll put together a spreadsheet to fax to the dealer. I am setting a deadline of Feb 15th for the responses.
