If you want really cheap clears, I suggest you try out EBAY motors and type in "E46" in the search box. I bought red/clear tail lights for $120 where most stores (Pacific and Circle BMW) charge anywhere b/w $200 - $250. On Ebay, you can name your price and if you think its too much, wait for a day or two and the same item will come up again where you can bid.
