If the steering suddenly becomes very heavy it is most likely associated with your power steering pump. Check the power steering fluid level, and make sure the power steering pump belt is tight. If both are fine, then you probably need a new pump.

I have 328Ci with low-profile sport tires and when I started the car this evening, I found the steering in both directions suddenly turned very hard. I suspected the tires are under-pressure but it didn't help after I pumped air into them.

Is it tire, alignment or other problem ?
I need some advices...
Thanks,Stanley
