I picked up my 330cic jan 17th and so far have had no problems. I have not driven it much since I'm in the northeast and I am trying to keep it from being pounded by the sand/salt on the road. All I can say is that if you have the $'s and have always wanted both a BMW and a convertible you should go for it. The car is amazing and like me you will not regret it once you sit behind the wheel. Don't expect much off sticker. Go for a few test drives and I think you will answer all your questions. The board is a great resource for solving issues and problems but other than some faulty thermostats (mine works just fine) I have not read of anything epidemic. Go for it... you'll enjoy it.

Hello!

I'm considering a 2001 325Ci or 330Ci convert and have some questions:

What's the general consensus of what to look out for re the above models? I.e. what are the weak areas (warping rotors, etc.)? Reliability, etc?

They seem to be harder to get than the non-convert models - correct? What are most people paying? (I'm in South Carolina) What is the usual waiting period? Are there any dealers that sell via the internet or that are "forum approved"?

This would be my first BMW and am not familiar with the line so I appreciate any and all advice.

Re - the forum: All I can see is one page of messages.. Are there more? If so, how do I see them?

Thanks in advance!!

dingo
