of shit I have ever seen. The car is only 2 and half years old and 23K miles. There has been at least 3 factory recalls, she has had to have it towed three times, the electrical system for the the last 2, it has been in the shop now for 2 weeks today, the side rubber weather stripping on door has never fit right, replaced 2 times, and water still gets in the car, the moonroof broke, elcheapo plastic interior, she loves the looks of the car, but it is such a piece of shit. She is leaning towards getting a new Celica GT or GT-S in auto or the Integra replacement in Aug., the car is such a junker, she is scared to wait till Aug. though. A Ford is not a car you want to own when warranty comes up in my opinion.

I was behind him on a stoplight, in a turn lane. There were two teenagers in there probably 18-19years olds...
They were revving the 5.0, the sound was amazing, he stormed across the turn when the light was green, about 50 yards to the next light, by that time they were alone, and I was behind him, so I had to change lines and stop by their side. Otherwise It would have been like not taking the challenge.
Although I was thinking I was going to get my ass whooped, after all it was a 5.0.
But I wasn't about to chickened out, so, I said what the hell, step to manual mode, into 1st gear, and I waited for the green light. All this while I heard the revving of the v8...ruuummmm....ruummm.

Green light, I just stepped on it, and made every change at @5500. I notice immediately that from 3500 to 5500 on 1st, the bimmer really jumped and took about 2 feet, that were never re-gained. The rest of the gears went about gaining more and more little by little...I beat him 0-60 for about 3 to 4 feet.

I never do stuff like that, but I was very surprised and gladly I must say.

True, it was a 5.0, what are those? 1985 or so?, and he had a passenger, still that is a BIG V8. I just never thought the bimmer could keep up...but it did, and then some.
