Help w/ removing trim (archive)

Anyone care to share their tips on removing the interior trim of an E46 3er sedan? The link from the FAQ is NLA and searching the archives revealed BMW instructions that showed some special trim removal tool. What tool(s) did you use?? I'm just trying to avoid ruining the surrounding trim or the trim pieces themselves...
