You would need to punch out an additional hole through the door panel for the mids. I'm sure these holes are marked on the back side of the door panel, maybe pre-scored for easy puch out. I have no idea. I'm just guessing here. But who gets mids anyways? most people seem to just install new woofers and tweeters and not use the mids. You would need a 6 channel amp for the from 6 speakers (2 tweet,2 mid, 2 woof). The way I see it is that is would suck to upgrade 4 speakers and have those 2 extra holes for those that are going aftermarket from a 10 speaker system.
So, there are separate grills/speakers for the front mids? If so, is it easy to put something aftermarket in there?
The front mids are on the door panel above the woofer. No rear mids (?) rear tweeters for sedan are on rear doors. Coax with rear woofers for coupes.
