E46 Steering (archive)

There has been much speculation about if, how and when BMW will modify the E46 steering. Some of you told us you want more road feel, and our engineers developed a solution that provides the road feel you want yet keeps the driving and parking comfortable. As of the start of the year, BMW implemented this solution. Feedback from owners is positive. Our engineers are now developing a solution for customers with E46s produced prior to this year. We hope that this will be available by the end of the first quarter.
