Waxing on new paint is ok. Newer paints are catalyzed at the factory and the clear coat seals it in. If it aint dry when you pick it up, it's never going to dry. Apply your favorite wax/polish as soon as you get it...and don't let the dealers touch it or even wash it....they will probably end up swirling up the clear coat.....

My dealer says the Jet black should have a clear coat otherwise I will need to wax it 1-2 times a month. Is this true?
