In the BMW options catalog. The sides (bolsters) are black and the seating surface is coloured (grey, blue, red). I'd love the black/grey combo for my silver car. But ultimate durability, have it reupholstered with KEVLAR! I'd pick those over any leather! CF trim to match would be just icing.

Hi all,
Hi there,

After reading the archives about leather seats, I'm wondering if it was possible to refit them with new leather when they are worn out. IMHO, I don't think it's possible to keep them aesthetically attractive after a couple of years. Mime have been showing some wrinkles and they are only 7months old... i.e., what do you guys think about treating the leather on the seats as something like performance tires... you _just_ have to replace them every now and then.... and is that economically viable??
