Car got keyed (archive)

My 6 month old blk/blk 330i seems to have been victim of getting keyed. Luckily it doesn't seem bad, there is a scratch from the drivers door to the end of the rear door. I am still questioning whether it was a keying, but it looks like it. I noticed it after washing it today, its hard to see. It looks like I can wax and buff it out, I did a little of this today and seemed to make it harder to see. Must have happened last night when I went out. I wish I knew why people do such things to nice cars. Oh well...
