The dealer, ahem, in a town north of Pittsboro NC and Southwest of Durham NC, told me that BMW Financial money factors are different in different geographical regions of the U.S. They started out by saying that the MF for 330Ci's is .0037 in NC, while it may be something else in another part of the country. I said "Huh?", not knowing exactly what it was but knowing that the 330i MF is or has been .0028 and, I believe, is now .0021, and assuming the 330Ci had to reasonably close...

What's up with that? And how can I look for a lease on a new BMW outside of BMW Financial? Will the dealer look for other leases for me just like they would shop loans from different banks on a purchase?
